Im a minibus driver, and trafic jams was the motive to leave the capital city and move to the beach in my country. The day i took the decision it was because one day i spend 55 minutes going from my apartment to the job... and it was only 1.5 miles!!

About the posible solution, its a coincidense, but i wrote about that solution today, on my blog...

Most roads are a public good. As a result, they are subject to all the perils of any public good, namely, overuse, crowding, and abuse. Reason has the right idea: keep the public roads for those who want to use them, encourage private roads for those willing to pay for them.
